Why people believe weird things about money – Los Angeles Times
Why people believe weird things about money – Los Angeles Times
Would you rather earn $50,000 a year while other people make $25,000, or would you rather earn $100,000 a year while other people get $250,000? Evolution it seems accounts for a lot of our strange ideas about money.
The idiot author, who is trying to argue sensibly on psychological effects of human beings missing the point of his original question. I would definitely prefer to earn 50k while everyone else earned 25k then 100k while everyone earned 250k. The author of the article seems to miss simple economics and the inflationary price that would be involved if you are on the low end of the pole.
I would truly be richer in dollar value with the first option – and the author of the LA times thinks I’m an idiot for thinking (realizing he is an idiot) that.
